While working at Disney, I was the Art Director on an innovative game concept presented in a world of Disney pop-up books. Each chapter of the book presented a classic Disney story filled with the characters we all know and love.

Neill Glancy was the visionary Game Director behind the concept. A big idea he gestated on for decades until Disney offered him the ideal conditions to develop it further. It was a real honor to collaborate with Neill and the dev team on visual development, game design, animation, audio, etc. And because of the game's innovative gameplay mechanics, Neill and I were awarded a US patent for game design. What an exciting achievement that was!

Unfortunately, Disney Interactive was going through leadership changes (and money troubles) so they cancelled the project and laid off our team. An all too familiar story in the chaotic life of game development. :(

It's a crying shame this game concept is locked away in the dusty vaults of Disney IP. Neill and I would've loved to have shared the magic with the world. It was truly something special. Hope you enjoy seeing all the hard work that went into the development.
